Liberty vs. Centralized Power

The rifts we see throughout the world are a clash of two ideologies: decentralized vs centralized power. The economic success of China has bolstered support for a more authoritarian capitalistic framework globally (including influence on the United States). The truth is, however, the CCP faces a threat bigger than any single country: and that is a decentralized internet. The truth cannot be contained for long and when huge swaths of the global population have access to unfettered information free of propaganda, we will see a renaissance in progress, humility, and innovation. It is imperative that countries, large corporations and institutions support the liberty and freedom of individuals because their success or failure in the next ten years will undoubtedly depend on where they stand now on this cultural divide.
